Rosemary Potter: Hope for our nation

To the editor:

In contrast to the constant in your face politics of the present administration, there is a breath of fresh air available to you by listening to six of the major candidates for the Republican nomination.

Ron Paul, Michelle Bachman, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich all weighed in on the real issues of life importance to conservatives.

You can hear and see them for yourself as they answer penetrating questions from moderator Frank Luntz.

The first question was “what do you think of the last four words of the presidential oath, ‘so help me God?’”

Their answers were inspiring.

type into the search box at the top.

There is quite a lot of introduction stuff, so if you want to get right to the heart of the discussion, drag the curser on the bar at the bottom of the screen to the right about an inch.

I think you’ll come away thinking that maybe there’s hope for our nation after all. Even

if they really mean only part of what they say, at least they’re putting into words what we true conservatives know to be right.

Any of them acting upon even part of what they say would be like a soft, refreshing rain after a long, killing drought.

It is something happy to add to our long list when we thank God for all our blessings.
