Ronald L. Burrows

Ronald L. Burrows, of Craig, Colo., died August 26, 2003, at St. Mary’s Hospital, in Grand Junction. He was 84.

Burrows was born Dec. 16, 1918, in Drumright, Okla., to Lem and Etta (Platter) Burrows.

Burrows married Beulah F. Bruce on Aug. 16, 1938. During WWII, he served in the U.S. Navy as a submariner. For 60 years Burrows lived in the Craig area, where he was an electrical contractor who owned and operated Burrows Electric, in Craig.



Burrows was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Shriners, Elks Lodge, and the Rifleman’s Association. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Burrows is survived by his wife, Beulah; one daughter, Sharon Dee McClain, of Craig; grandchildren Kanton Ruff and Colleen (Joe) Bower; and one great-grandson, Joshua Bower.



At the request of Mr. Burrows, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church of the donors’ choice.
