Rollover crash is a reminder to residents to drive sober this holiday season

Thursday’s one-car rollover crash near milepost 92 on Colorado Highway 13 resulted in no injuries, but it served as a reminder to residents not to drink and drive this holiday season.

According to a news release from Colorado State Patrol, Matthew Brown, 21, of Craig was trying to pass another car on the left when he lost control of his car, skidding off the right side of the road and doing a quarter roll before the vehicle came to a rest on its passenger side.

Neither Brown nor his passenger, Aaron Nielsen, 21, were injured in the crash, the release said.

However, the release stated Brown was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, having an excessive alcohol content, careless driving, and driving while his license was under suspension.
