Rodeo team planning fund-raiser

The Moffat County High School rodeo team is conducting a fundraiser for the team from now until July 3. The goal of the Cow Pie Fundraiser is to raise money for the rodeo members as well as provide an opportunity for one lucky participant to win as much as $2,500.

After the final day of the Little Britches Rodeo, Sunday, July 3, numbered squares will be placed in the large arena at the Moffat County Fair Grounds. Then a bull will be released into the arena and, as rodeo coach Casey Fawcett said, “whatever number the bull deposits his present on” is the winning number. The participant who purchased that number will win the pot. The squares are available for $5 each at the MJK Feed Department or from any high school rodeo team member.
