Residents thank friends, emergency responders

To the Editor

Verne and I would like to take this opportunity to thank so many of you for your assistance during our recent medical emergency.

To the dispatcher who first took my call and had such a calming manner, to the EMTs who arrived to our home so quickly, especially Rich Nichols, to the police and fire department personnel that were right behind them, to the emergency room staff that were efficient yet so caring, the nurses and especially to Art, to Drs. Reishus and Dennis Kinder, to both flight crews that were there to transport us to Grand Junction, to John and Nancy Doan, Sue Lyster, Bill and Sue Barnes and to countless more of you for your kind thoughts and deeds and four your prayers.

Words seem so small compared to the lives that will be forever changed because of the things you all did for us. Craig truly has its share of heroes.

Verne and Valerie Stewart,

Craig
