Residents poses questions to hospital opponents

To the Editor:

To the naysayers about the new hospital:

I have volunteered for several years as a “paper pusher.” These are the reasons for building the new hospital as planned by the hospital board and administration:

1. Location adjoins north and south Highway 13, which is two blocks from Highway 40.

2. Within two blocks of the location are located three medical clinics 10 or 12 doctors are close if needed quickly at the hospital for emergencies!

3. The Visiting Nurse Association building is already located in that block. Would you ignore that facility?

4. Utilities are already in place.

Please answer my questions. Where is a location that is even comparable, let alone better?

Long-time resident and long-time

volunteer at the hospital
