Residents get warning for loud music, citation after police are called back: On the Record — April 22

Monday, April 22

9:16 a.m. On the 1000 block of Yampa Avenue, police in Craig responded to a welfare check. Craig police said a social worker requested police assist them in a welfare check.



10:11 a.m. On the 200 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig executed a warrant. Craig police said a 27-year-old Grand Junction man was arrested on a warrant from an outside agency.

1:44 p.m. On the 800 block of Russell Street, police in Craig responded to a traffic stop. Craig police said they made a traffic stop and issued a citation for a traffic violation. Craig police responded to at least two additional traffic stops Monday.



3:04 p.m. On the 2000 block of Williams Lane, police in Craig responded to a noise complaint. Craig police said upon investigation, they found a residence with loud music and warned the residents whose music was loud. Police said they were called back to the residence a short time later and issued the residents a citation.

6:21 p.m. On the 400 block of Tucker Street, police in Craig responded to a trespass call. Craig police said a resident who was previously issued a trespass notice, was allegedly spotted on the property and police continue to investigate.

According to the Craig Police Department incident log, police in Craig responded to 50 calls for service Monday.
