CRAIG — To help celebrate the 100-year-old Moffat County Fair the Moffat County Cattlewomen are seeking recipes for a professional published commemorative cookbook.

The cookbook will be customized to represent local agriculture, with recipe categories designed to meet the seasons of Moffat County. Submissions should be a main dish, side dish, dessert, drinks or breads and rolls, and fit into one of the following categories.

• Calving and Lambing

• Branding and Docking

• Hay and Harvest

• Shipping

• Rodeo and Livestock Showing

• Camping, Hunting and Outfitting

• On the Go

• Family Celebrations and Holidays

The publishing company requires consistency, so recipes must be submitted using a form, available by emailing

Space permitting, the cattlewomen hope to use all recipes submitted, with the name and location of the person who submitted the recipe printed with each.

Cookbooks will be sold for $20 during the 2018 Moffat County Fair in August and may be pre-ordered when submitting a recipe.

For additional information and to submit recipes, call Kacey Green at 970-326-8981, Chris Rhyne at 970-756-6655, Stacy Gray at 970-629-2468 or any member of the Moffat County Cattlewomen. Recipes may also be emailed to
