Property decisions feature on agenda for Moffat County College District Board meeting Monday
CRAIG — A request to support the “conveyance” of real property for Memorial Regional Health will be considered when the Moffat County Affiliated Junior College District Board of Control meets. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 in room 255 CNCC Academic Services Building Room 255 at 2801 W. Ninth St.
The meeting will start with an executive session pursuant to (§24-6-402(4)(a), C.R.S.) to discuss the purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale of any real, personal, or other property interest followed by an update on the sale of the Trapper Building that was approved earlier in the year.
Member of the board will then consider Memorial Regional Health’s request for support of the conveyance of real property. It is not clear from the agenda what property would be conveyed or the parties involved in the transaction.
The board will also discuss Colorado Community College System President Joe Garcia’s August visit, consider approval of minutes from the regular meeting held Aug. 20, and the treasurer’s report.
The board will also receive the first quarterly report on the impact of additional funding approved in June to support programs while offering Moffat County residents free tuition; and they will receive regular monthly reports from college staff, board members and liaison to the board.
