Local residents' thoughts on the Rockies

— The Colorado Rockies, in the team’s first ever World Series appearance, face perennial American League power the Boston Red Sox, in Game 1 tonight at Fenway Park in Boston.

First pitch is 6:35 p.m. and will be televised on the Fox Network.

The Craig Daily Press took to the city streets Tuesday afternoon for predictions from local residents on what many hope will be the first Major League championship in the franchise’s short history.

“My husband has been bugging me all day about getting tickets. We paid a ton of money for games four and five. So I want the Rockies in five. That way we can be there when they close it out.”

– Stephanie Beckett

“It’s going to be a tough series, but I’ll say, Rockies in seven.”
