Police respond to drunken pedestrian: On the Record — Feb. 7

4:34 a.m. Police in Craig executed a warrant, and an arrest was made. Police said a 26-year-old Hayden man was arrested on a warrant from another agency as well as suspicion of drug possession.
6:08 a.m. Near the intersection of Tucker and East Seventh streets, police responded to a property damage crash, and a report was filed. Police said there were no injuries, but one party was issued a citation. Police responded to at least one other property damage crash call on Thursday.
9:45 a.m. On the 1000 block of Yampa Avenue, police responded to a trespass call, and a report was filed. Police said a male party was issued a citation for trespassing.
2:43 p.m. In Craig, police responded to a report of possible child abuse or neglect, but no report was filed. Police said they responded, but no contact was made. The report remains under investigation.
3:58 p.m. Near the milepost 94 on U.S. Highway 40, police responded to a report of a possible drunken driver. Police said they checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
5 p.m. On the 600 block of East Fourth Street, police responded to a report of fraud. No information about the call was immediately available in police records.
7:09 p.m. Police responded to the East Kum & Go for a report of a possible drunken pedestrian. Police said they made contact with a female subject at the store, but the call was later cleared with no further action.
A Craig man is accused of leaving the scene of an accident after hitting his close friend with a pickup truck April 6 near the Sandrocks.
