Friday, June 14

8:16 a.m. At Loaf ‘N Jug, police in Craig responded to a traffic stop. Craig police said a verbal warning was issued to a driver. Police in Craig responded to at least five additional traffic stops Friday.

8:41 a.m. On the 40 block of East Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a theft call. Craig police said a caller reported a male party who entered the store and stole a carton of cigarettes.

9:01 a.m. At Sherwood Forest, police in Craig responded to a property found/recovered call. Craig police said a caller reported a found minibike.

2:34 p.m. On the 2000 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a trespass call. Craig police said they issued a male party a trespass notice.

8:06 p.m. Police in Craig responded to a domestic violence call. Craig police said a 27-year-old woman was arrested on a Moffat County warrant

11:18 p.m. On the 600 block of Wickes Avenue, police in Craig responded to a burglary call. Craig police said a 24-year-old man was arrested on a charge of crime of violation of a protection order.

1:30 p.m. In the alley behind Yampa Avenue’s Barrel Cathedral brewery, police in Craig responded to an agency assist call. Craig police said they assisted Colorado State Patrol on a traffic stop.

2:19 a.m. Near the intersection of West Victory Way and Steele Street, police in Craig responded to a traffic stop. Craig police said a 21-year-old Craig man was cited on charges of driving under the influence and driving when lighted lamps required. Police in Craig responded to at least six additional traffic stops Saturday.

11:20 a.m. Near the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and Moffat County Road 64, police in Craig responded to a traffic stop. Craig police said they issued at least driver a citation on a charge of speeding.

6:53 p.m. On the 700 block of Taylor Street, police in Craig responded to a suspicious person/vehicle/article call. Craig police said a 56-year-old Craig man and a 27-year-old Hayden man were arrested on charges of first degree criminal trespass.

12:10 p.m. On the 300 block of Cedar Court, police in Craig responded to a hit and run crash call. Craig police said a caller reported damage to their vehicle and police continue to investigate.

12:33 p.m. At Loaf ‘N Jug, police in Craig responded to a property damage crash call. Craig police said they investigated a two-vehicle crash and at least one driver was issued a citation.

1:38 p.m. On the 1600 block of Yampa Avenue, police in Craig responded to a burglary call. Craig police said a 19-year-old Craig woman and a 20-year-old Craig man were arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal possession of marijana by an underage person.

3:50 p.m. On the 500 block of Steele Street, police in Craig responded to a theft call. Craig police said a male caller reported a stolen bike some two days ago.

6:17 p.m. On the 400 block of Russell Street, police in Craig responded to a property damage crash call. Craig police said they investigated a two-vehicle accident and one party was issued a citation.

11:08 p.m. Near the intersection of Steele Street and West Eighth Street, police in Craig responded to a suspicious person/vehicle/article call. Craig police said they investigated juveniles on bikes and issued at least one party a citation on a curfew violation.
