Police find dangerous weapon on trespass call: On the Record — July 19 to 21

Friday, July 19 

3:49 a.m. On the 700 block of East Victory Way, police in Craig responded to an alarm call. A caller reported a male at a local convenience store was making an employee nervous, so the man was trespassed from the premises. 

5:11 a.m. On the 1000 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a trespass call. A customer refused to leave a local business and would have been issued a trespass notice, but the customer left the business before police arrived and they were unable to locate them.

10:04 a.m. On the 400 block of Taylor Street, police in Craig responded to a code enforcement call. Craig police said they responded to a residential alarm that was soon canceled by the alarm company. 

10:28 a.m. On the 500 block of Breeze Street, police in Craig responded to a fraud call. Craig police said they investigated a possible electric company payment scam.  

10:52 a.m. On the 800 block of Barclay Street, police in Craig responded to a theft call. Craig police said no additional information was available Monday. 

12:15 p.m. On the 200 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a warrant call. A 49-year-old Craig woman was arrested on a failure to appear warrant.

10:10 a.m. On the 1000 block of East Seventh Street, police in Craig responded to a harassment call. Craig police said they investigated threatening texts between two females. 

12:07 p.m. On the 700 block of East Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a property damage crash call. Craig police said no additional information was available Monday. 

1:24 p.m. At U.S. Highway 40’s milepost 96, police in Craig responded to a road rage call. Craig police said no additional information was available Monday. 

7:43 p.m. On Colorado State Highway 13, police in Craig responded to a drunk driver call. Craig police said no additional information was available Monday.
