Moffat County Jail

Angela Marie Skoquist, 30, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant.

Friday, Sept. 9



Police issued a summons to a high school student on suspicion of trespassing and allowing someone to ride on top of his car.

Officers took a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.

Saturday, Sept. 10

Officers took a report of a restraining order violation.

Officers took a report of someone observing narcotics being used at the Breeze Street park.

Two inmates were involved in a confrontation at the jail.

Moffat County Sheriff’s Office

Friday, Sept. 9

Deputies contacted a landowner in reference to someone dumping trash on Moffat County Road 64.

Sunday, Sept. 11

A resident reported hearing shots being fired.

Deputies responded to a traffic accident involving county vehicle. A Moffat County Sheriff’s patrol car rolled into the rear of another vehicle while a deputy was on a traffic stop. Neither vehicle was injured, and the department is doing an investigation into the incident, Sgt. K.C. Hume said.
