Moffat County High School students and teachers were transported to a historic time and place Saturday night at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion.
The annual prom for MCHS featured the theme “A Night Under the Stars in Ancient Greece” complete with stellar ceiling hangings, dangling plant life, columns, busts and more emulating the Mediterranean culture of yesteryear.
Among the snacks for the evening were baklava and fried feta fitting the Greek theme provided by the MCHS catering class headed by Jeff Sullivan, as well as cake pops and fruit skewers.
Taking the honors of prom royalty for this year were juniors Logan Reidhead and Mia Montanez and seniors Shane Del Toro and Corey Kitchen, with a Spartan battle helmet part of the adornment.
