Pearcey leaves Northwest Colorado Dental Coalition

Janet Pearcey left her position as the executive director of the Northwest Colorado Dental Coalition on Tuesday.

The coalition works to provide dental care to low-income residents of Northwest Colorado. Joel Sheridan, president of the board of the coalition, said that Pearcey will be missed.

“She was very knowledgeable in the day-to-day operations and the field of dentistry,” he said. Pearcey “helped us get the appropriate equipment.”

She led the way in making sure the clinic got the necessary dentist chairs and tools to provide dentistry services.

“I think she served our clinic very well,” Sheridan said.

Sheridan anticipates the board will find a new executive director by mid-February. At the next meeting, the board will determine its five-year vision to decide what to look for in an applicant.
