Crime of the month

From the "You can't make this stuff up" file:

Eight juveniles between ages 10 and 16 were charged with vandalizing St. Michael Catholic Church on Oct. 11. The group claimed that its game of "hide-and-seek" led to the vandalism. There were signs of someone urinating in two locations, sacramental wine being stolen, food items flung around the church and lit matches disposed throughout. The damages and thefts were estimated to be a loss of more than $400.
