Matthew Jerry Gearhart, 50, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County jail on suspicion of third degree assault.



Saturday, Jan. 25

Craig Allen Toovey, 22, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County jail on suspicion of criminal mischief.



Sunday, Jan. 26

Robert Justin Brannon, 36, of Grand Junction, was booked into Moffat County jail on a warrant for failing to appear.

Janae Christine White, 28, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County jail on suspicion of violating a restraining order.

Monday, Jan. 27

Jamie Ray Winey, 34, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County jail on a court order.

Matthew James Lawrence, 27, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County jail on suspicion for first-degree criminal trespass.

Michael Eugene Burkett, 43, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County jail on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer, disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal trespass and harassment.

Friday, Jan. 24

8:36 a.m. Officers responded to the 700 block of Marland Avenue for a report of vandalism. There was a report of a window that was hit with a paint ball. No damage was done to the window.

4:10 p.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of Second Avenue for a report of a disturbance. An adult male was arrested for third-degree assault.

Saturday, Jan. 25

3:04 a.m. Officers responded to the 900 block of West First Street for a report of a broken window. An adult male was arrested for criminal mischief.

3:09 p.m. Officers responded to the 1100 block of West Victory Way for a report of theft of money. The investigation continues.

6:12 p.m. Officers responded to Highway 40 near Mile Marker 92 for a report of a traffic accident. The vehicle was damaged in a deer versus vehicle accident.

11:29 p.m. Officers responded to the 1200 block of West Sixth Street for a report of an intoxicated person. An adult female was later arrested for violation of a restraining order.

Sunday, Jan. 26

10:48 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Yampa Avenue for a report of a disturbance. An adult male was arrested for harassment, obstructing a peace officer, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Monday, Jan. 27

1:38 p.m. Officers responded to the 700 block of East Victory Way for a report of theft. Gas was reported stolen.

2:23 p.m. Officers responded to the 700 block of Hospital Loop for a report of property damage. There had been a non-injury vehicle accident.

2:44 p.m. Officers responded to the 000 block of West Victory Way for a report of property damage. There had been a non-injury vehicle accident.

4:19 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Yampa Avenue for a report of a disturbance in progress. Two males were issued summons for disorderly conduct.

7:01 p.m. Officers responded to the 2000 block of Woodbury Drive for a report of property damage. There had been a non-injury vehicle accident.

10:45 p.m. Officers responded to Woodbury Park for a report of domestic violence. A juvenile female and juvenile male were fighting. Both were released to parents.

10:12 a.m. Deputies responded to the 000 block of Ranney Street for an agency assist.

4:41 p.m. Deputies responded to the 300 block of East First Street for a report of assault.

5:57 p.m. Deputies responded to Highway 13 near Mile Post Three for a traffic stop.

9:18 p.m. Deputies responded to Highway 13 near Mile Post 102 for a traffic stop.

12:34 p.m. Deputies responded to 100 Stegosaurus Freeway for a report of vandalism

7:02 a.m. Fire/Rescue responded to Yampa Avenue for a report of a fire. There was a report of a fire in the attic.

Sunday, Jan. 26

12:47 p.m. Fire/Rescue responded to the 1000 block of School Street for a report of a fire. The reporting party said there was a fire in their attic.

Monday, Jan. 27

11:25 a.m. Fire/Rescue responded to Highway 13 for a report of a fire. There was a small brush fire, but it was quickly controlled.
