Luke Branson Talbott, 20, of Buffalo, Wyoming, was arrested on charges of distribution/manufacture/possession of less than 1/2 ounce of a scheduled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, public consumption of marijuana and another charge for possession of a scheduled substance.

Elizabeth Rita Cox, 26, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant.

Nicholas Henry Karm, 18, of Buffalo, Wyoming, was arrested on charges of distribution/manufacture/possession of less than 1/2 ounce of a scheduled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, public consumption of marijuana, another charge for possession of a scheduled substance and authorized possession of controlled substances (out of pill bottle).

Wednesday, Dec. 17

Juan Caudio Olivarez-Alvarez, 31, of Craig, was arrested on charges of domestic violence, third-degree assault, child abuse, first-degree burglary and sexual assault.

Steven Michael Regalado Jr., 28, a transient, was booked into Moffat County jail on a warrant.

Jeffrey Robert Nordloh, 53, of Craig, was arrested on charges of driving under restraint.

Jasen Elbert Teal, 41 was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant.

Colorado treats marijuana taxes like ‘a piggy bank,’ but top lawmakers want to limit spending to two areas

The complaints from constituents and policy advocates are aimed at the Marijuana Tax Cash Fund, a depository for about half of the $272 million the state is expected to generate this fiscal year from marijuana-related taxes. The legislature has guidelines for how the money should be spent, but lawmakers can use it for just about anything they want. And in practice, they do, splitting the money among dozens of different programs, across more than a dozen state agencies.
