Thursday, April 17

10:40 a.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of Cedar Court for a report of property damage. There was a report of a broken fire hydrant spraying water, which could have been the result of a hit and run traffic accident. The investigation continues.

4:55 p.m. Officers responded to the 900 block of Alta Vista Drive for a report of a hit and run accident. An unattended vehicle rolled into another vehicle; hitting a fence and a mailbox before coming to a stop.

4:58 p.m. Officers responded to the 800 block of West Eighth Street for a report of fraud. There was a report of a possible mail scam that involved obtaining information on relatives involved in the Civil War.
