Friday, May 1
In the 900 block of Finley Lane, animal control responded to a possible animal control issue involving kittens. An investigation is ongoing.
In the 800 block of Columbine Street, code enforcement responded to a report of stucco materials that had been dumped in an abandoned alleyway. The property owner was contacted and agreed to clean up the debris.
In the 500 block of School Street, officers responded to a report of a stolen bicycle. An investigation is ongoing.
In the 500 block of Ledford Street, officers responded to a report of theft and criminal mischief. It was determined there were no criminal charges.
In the 2300 block West Victory, officers responded to a report of a dog at large. The dog was not located.
Saturday, May 2
In the 400 block of Tucker Street, officers observed a vehicle make a turn into the wrong lane. The adult male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
In the 600 block of Wickes Avenue, officers responded to a report of the theft of a blanket from a shared laundry room.
In the 3600 block of Juniper Place, officers contacted an adult male and issued him a trespass notice from a residence.
Sunday, May 3
In the 500 block of Breeze Street, officers responded to a report of a broken front window at a residence. Two rocks were located near the window.
In the 800 block of East Seventh Street, officers responded to a noise complaint.
Monday, May 4
In the 200 block of South Highway 13, James Larson was taken into custody and booked into Moffat County Jail after officers responded to a domestic violence call. According to an arrest affidavit from Craig Police Department, Larson slapped the female victim because she thought he was being unfaithful.
In the 400 block of East Fourth Street, an officer took a report of fraud.
In the 2000 block of West Victory Way, a wallet was found in a parking lot and turned over to police department for safekeeping.
In the block 800 of West First Street, an officer found property and booked it in for safekeeping.
In the 600 block of Hockett Circle, an officer took report of theft.
Moffat County Jail
Tuesday, April 28
Kevin Richard Southard, 33, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail for allegedly violating a restraining order.
Wednesday, April 29
Samuel Clayton Doolin, 29, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail for a bond violation.
Friday, May 1
Bryan Jennings Johnson, 38, of Clifton, was booked into Moffat County Jail on two warrants for theft.
Julie Ann Pierce, 33, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on warrant.
The Bureau of Land Management’s headquarters will move to Grand Junction.
