In the 900 block of West Eighth Drive, an officer took a report of an assault.

In the 1300 block of West Victory Way, officers assisted the Moffat County Sheriff’s Office with a welfare check.

In the 500 block of Pershing Street, an officer took a report of a vehicle accident with property damage. A car rolled into the rear bumper of another car.

In the 2100 block of Baker Drive, officers responded to a drug violation.

In the 400 block of Rose Street, an officer contacted a bicyclist for careless riding and arrested him on a forgery warrant out of Montana.

In the 2300 block of West Victory Way, an officer took a report of a vehicle accident with property damage. One car backed into another car in a parking lot. No citation was issued.

In the 500 block of West Victory Way, officers took a report of theft of prescription medication.

In the 900 block of West First Street, officers responded to a disturbance. One person was trespassed from a residence but no charges were filed.

In the 2000 block of West Victory Way, an officer took a report of a vehicle crash with property damage. One car backed into another car in a parking lot. One of the drivers was issued a citation for careless driving.

Duane Edward Newton, 46, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on charges of possession of a scheduled substance and paraphernalia, possession of a dangerous or illegal weapon and distribution of a scheduled substance.
