Friday, June 12

Officers responded to The Memorial Hospital on a report of a gunshot wound.

In the 900 block of West First Street, code enforcement received a report of a vehicle with expired plates. The vehicle was red-tagged.



At East Fourth Street and West Victory Way, officers responded to a traffic accident involving a motorcycle. Michael Ray White was issued a summons for driving a motorcycle without the proper class of license and failing to present insurance.

In the 500 block of West Victory Way, officers contacted Chad Marshall and arrested him for failing to comply with a warrant.



In the 400 block of Washington Street, officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

Saturday, June 13

In the 700 block of Taylor Street, code enforcement observed junk in the yard including tires, an appliance and other junk items. Tall weeds and grass were also growing on the property. The property owner was contacted and advised of the violations.

In the 700 block of Ranney Street, code enforcement responded to a report of shrubs impeding vehicle movement in the alley. Tall weeds and grass were also observed on the property. A door hanger warning was posted advising of the violations.

Along vacant parcels on Crescent Drive, code enforcement observed thistle and white top growing. Parties taking care of the vacant parcels were advised of the violations.

On a vacant property in the 600 block of Riford Road, code enforcement observed thistle and Toadflax growing. Parties taking care of the property were advised of the violations.

In the 600 block of Wickes Avenue, code enforcement observed thistle and Toadflax growing on vacant property. The property owner was advised of the violations.

On vacant parcels located south of Highway 40 and west of Highway 13, code enforcement observed thistle and white top growing. The party who maintains this property was advised of the violations.

In the 2000 block of West Victory Way, officers responded to a report of a firearm denial. An investigation is underway.

In the 000 block of East Victory Way, officers received a Report Every Dangerous/Drunk Driver Immediately report involving a female driving a gray Dodge. Monique Reed, was later arrested for driving under the influence.

In the 600 block of Wickes Avenue, officers responded to a hit and run traffic accident. The investigation continues.

Moffat County Jail

Tuesday, June 9

Arturo R. Delgado, 34, of Evansville, Wyoming, was booked into Moffat County Jail on mittimus. Mittimus is a court order directing the sheriff to transport the person named in the order to jail, and directing the jailor to receive and imprison the person.

Layne Howard, 26, of Vanderwagen, New Mexico, was booked into Moffat County Jail for driving under restraint. He was sentenced to 40 days in jail.

Wednesday, June 10

Charles David Bergstrom, 53, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail for alleged violation of a restraining order and theft less than $50.

Michael Robert Teeter, 49, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant for stalking.

Jacob Williams Haynes, 22, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on an order from Judge Michael O’Hara to hold until a pre-sentencing investigation report is complete.

Johnny Neil Chappell, 46, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a traffic-related warrant for his arrest.

Justin Lee Warren, 43, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of multiple controlled substances, tampering with evidence and introducing contraband into a correctional facility.

Pamela Sue Clark, 64, Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail for alleged possession of weapons.

Sheena Marie Gipson, 26, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of unlawful use of a controlled substance and violating a restraining order.

Thursday, June 11

Trista Kay Hoth, 40, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail for alleged obstruction of a peace officer, second-degree assault on a police officer and third-degree criminal trespassing.

Paul Eugene Sterle, 37, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on charges of violating a restraining order and domestic violence.

Chad Johnstone Marshall, 39, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

Friday, June 12

Leslie Joann Montoya, 45, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of criminal trespassing and theft.

Casey Johns Howe, 28, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on charges of third-degree assault, child abuse, domestic violence, harassment and first-degree criminal tampering.

Thomas Ray Velasquez, 61, transient, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a warrant for failing to appear in court.

Saturday, June 13

Jennifer Jade Smith, 35, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail for on charges of weaving while driving, failing to use turn signals, possession of a scheduled substance and child abuse.

Monday, June 15

Keith Allen Montoya, 27, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of providing a false report to authorities and domestic violence.
