Craig Police Department
Friday, April 17
At State Highway 13 and West Victory Way, officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and weaving from lane to lane. The adult male driver was arrested for DUI.
At Ranney Street and West Seventh Street, animal control responded to a report of a dog bite. The owner of the dog was issued a summons for animals at large and vicious animals.
In the 800 block of West First Street, officers responded to a report of a found cell phone.
Saturday, April 18
In the 900 block of Finley Lane, code enforcement responded to a report of parking violations at Moffat County High School, approximately 50 cars were blocking the fire lane. An announcement was made at the wrestling tournament to move the cars within 20 minutes. Cars not moved within that time period were issued parking violation tickets.
In the 600 block of Wickes Avenue, animal control responded to a report of a dog bite.
Sunday, April 19
In the 400 block of Tucker Street, officers responded to a noise complaint.
At Barclay and Seventh streets, an adult male was issued a summons for driving without a valid drivers license and failing to present evidence of insurance.
In the 500 block of Colorado Street, officers responded to a traffic accident where an adult female driver backed into a parked car. She was issued a summons for improper backing in parking area.
In the 2200 block of West Third Street, officers responded to a report of stolen bicycles and bicycle parts. An adult male was arrested for theft and criminal mischief.
Tuesday, April 21
In the 400 block of Bellaire, one male was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, tampering with evidence and violation of a restraining order.
In the 800 block of West First Street, one male was arrested on a warrant and booked into Moffat County Jail.
In the 600 block of Yampa Avenue, an officer took a theft report.
In the1000 block East Seventh Street, an officer took a theft report.
In the 1400 block of Barclay Street, an officer took report of harassment.

Friday, April 17
Christopher Joseph Frigo, 39, of Weatherford, Texas, was booked into Moffat County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of liquor.
Sunday, April 19
Coy Steven Smotherman, 33, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail on a charge of criminal mischief.
Monday, April 20
Joseph Allen Santos, 19, of Aspen, was booked into Moffat County Jail for allegedly violating a restraining order and consuming alcohol as a minor.
Tuesday, April 21
David Franklin Minica, 46, of Craig, was booked into Moffat County Jail for alleged violation of a restraining order and harassment.
