William Glen Bilsing
William Glen “Bill” Bilsing of Craig, Colo., died Sept. 17, 1999, at Valley View Manor in Craig. He was 86.
On July 23, 1913, in Craig, he was born the son of Adam Earl and Clara Marie (Faulkner) Bilsing. He spent his childhood in Craig and was graduated from Craig High School.
On Dec. 7, 1938, in Craig he married Millie Inez Lowe. He owned and operated Bill’s Super Market and Big Country Meats.
Bilsing is survived by his wife; daughters, Barbara (Ed) Bumbalo of Atlanta, Ga., and Sue (Jerry) Thompson of Craig; son, Bill (Carol) Bilsing of Loveland, Colo.; sister, Ada Ruth Sims of Denver; grandchildren, Brett Balley, Brenda Von Holst, Lisa Bilsing, Pam Young, Penney Rose and Tia Thompson; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul.
Services were held Sept. 18, 1999, at Grant Mortuary Chapel. Bilsing’s ashes will be spread on the Yampa River at 10 a.m. Sept. 30. The family asks his friends to pause and remember him at this time.
