Obituary: Patrick Joseph ‘PJ’ Conniff

November 2, 1976 – May 5, 2019

Patrick Joseph “PJ” Conniff was born November 2, 1976 in Price Utah to Barbara and the late Patrick Conniff.

He attended Norte Dame School the first three years of his education and then public school until his junior year. Patrick moved to Craig and Hayden and attended Moffat County High School. Patrick attended Universal Technology Institute earing his associate of occupation degree in automotive and diesel technology. He went to work as a diesel mechanic in Grand Junction for twenty years. Patrick is survived by his mother Barbara Jones; aunts Betty McIntyre, Cathy (Jim) Salazar, and Judy Castine; uncles David (Carol) Balleck, Dennis (Shirley) Balleck, and Clark (Nancy) Conniff; cousins Carmen (Tony) Edmonds, Justine McIntyre, Levi (Neisha) Balleck, Keith Balleck, Kyle (Cammie) Balleck, Brandon Balleck, Michele Castine, Monte Castine, Cathy Castine, Mary Dean (Sean) Stevenson, Kayla (Hank) Ellgren, Kayleen (Randy) Merrick, Sean Conniff and Nicole Conniff. Patrick is preceded in death by his father Patrick D. Conniff, grandparents Joseph and Marian Balleck, Donald and Marguerite Conniff, uncle Dan McIntyre and cousin Dalian Salazar. Patrick loved his many hobbies which included motocross, riding his Harley, camping, creating clocks, tinkering and listening to old country music with his dog Kota.
