Obituary – Margaret Elsie Jones

Margaret Elsie Jones
1915-1999
Margaret Elsie Jones, formerly of Craig, Colo., died Sept. 29, 1999, at Pikes Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was 84.
On March 15, 1915, in Meeker, Colo., she was born the daughter of James Lincoln and Fanny Tagert. She attended school in Meeker and was graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in home economics. Jones came to Craig to teach high school in 1937.
On Sept. 2, 1938, she married Hugh A. Jones of Craig. They lived in Craig for 38 years. In 1976 they moved to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, for three years. They returned to Colorado in 1979.
Jones is survived by her husband; daughters, Julie (Mark Alan) Eddy of Colorado Springs and Marci (Will Gian) Macaluso of South Salem, N.Y.; brothers, Charles Tagert, Donald Tagert and Bill Tagert.
Interment will be at Craig Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Craig-Moffat County Library.
