Obituary – Leo Rutter
Leo Rutter of Aurora, Colo., died Sept. 18, 1999. He was 61.
On June 1, 1938, in Liberal, Kan., he was born the son of Clark and Faye Rutter.
On Nov. 10, 1958, he joined the U.S. Army and was discharged in September 1961 as a private first class. He worked for Colowyo Coal Company in Craig, Colo., for 15 years.
He had been married to Pat Hinkley and later to Mildred Weis.
Rutter is survived by his mother; daughters, Stacie Duklin of Fairbanks, Alaska, Mindolyn Rutter of Aurora, and Cindy Weston of Craig; son, Scott Rutter of Fairbanks; sister, Betty Sheldon of Yuma, Colo.; and seven grandchildren.
Rutter was preceded in death by his father and son, Monte Del Rutter.
Services were held Sept. 23, 1999, at St. Paul’s Community Church in Lakewood, Colo.
Moffat County High School is on the lookout for a new head coach for the Bulldog wrestling program after this week.
