Lenore U. Voeltzel
Lenore U. Voeltzel of Craig, Colo., died Nov. 11, 1999, at Valley View Manor in Craig. She was 84.
On Jan. 21, 1915, in Hamilton Fort, Utah, she was born the daughter of Alex and Ruth (Pryor) Urie.
In 1935 she married Martin Deyo in Denver. They moved to Craig in 1942. They were later divorced. In 1947 she married David G. Voeltzel in Steamboat Springs, Colo. They lived in Craig for many years. Voeltzel was employed as a bookkeeper and secretary for Texaco and Phillips 66.
She is survived by daughter, JoAnn Cooney of Lakeside, Calif; son, Doug (Patricia) Deyo of Lakeside; sister, Barbara Sand of Baker, Nev.; grandchildren, Mike Deyo and Steve Deyo of Craig, Lance Corney of Costa Mesa, Calif, Angie Dawson and Karen Lipscomb of Lakeside; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William and Joseph; and her husband, David Voeltzel.
Services were held at Craig Cemetery Nov. 16, 1999. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
