Donald Wayne McAlister
Donald Wayne McAlister of Dixon, Wyo., died Dec. 3, 1999, at his home. He was 70.
On April 4, 1929, in Dixon, he was born the son of Ira L. and Rhonda E. (Adams) McAlister. He was raised in Dixon and graduated from Baggs High School. He served in the U. S. Navy. He returned to the Snake River Valley and worked on various ranches and had his own fencing business. He served as mayor of Baggs.
He is survived by sisters, Iris Balleck and Bea Roe of Craig, Colo.; brothers, Paul McAlister of Dixon and Bruce McAlister of Craig.
Services were held Dec. 8, 1999, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Dixon. Pallbearers were Toony Balleck, Richard Wilson, Richard Foster, Richard Corson, Randy Montgomery, Ludwig Centa and Mike McAlister.
Honorary pallbearers were Albert Woods, Clayton Jons, Dick Clark and Bill McGee.
Interment was at Baker Cemetery.
