Northwest Colorado Dental Coalition named agency of the year

Out of 28 different awards presented Thursday by United Way, the most prestigious, the group’s agency of the year, was given to the Northwest Colorado Dental Coalition, located at 485 Yampa Ave.

United Way officials recognized the agency during its third annual awards luncheon at the Holiday Inn of Craig for its continued efforts to provide affordable access to dental medicine for a five-county, regional area.

Also recognized Thursday were 24 local businesses, three departing United Way board members and two media outlets.
