Christmas for Kids applications available
Applications are available for Christmas for Kids, a program that collects new toys for families in need.
The applications are available at the United Way office, 651 Yampa Ave. Deadline for families to turn applications in is 5 p.m. Dec. 9.
Recipients should pick up toys from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 2350 West Third St., next to Magnum Metals.
Food bank to distribute baskets for the holidays
Applications are available for residents who are eligible for Christmas baskets from the Interfaith Food Bank.
The applications are available at Shadow Mountain Clubhouse, 1055 Moffat County Road 7 or at the Department of Social Services, 595 Breeze St.
Applicants must turn in forms by Friday. The food bank will distribute baskets from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 13.
