Moffat County wrestling banquet Sept. 23: Craig Sports Briefs for Sept. 15, 2017
The Moffat County High School wrestling program will host its annual prime rib dinner fundraiser starting at 5 p.m. Sept. 23 at Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave.
Tickets are $25 per person or $75 for a family of four for the meal.
A silent auction follows at 7 p.m. and is free for those who don’t wish to attend the dinner portion.
Tickets are available at Favorite Things, 584 Yampa Ave., or by contacting the program through MOCO Wrestling on Facebook. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Humane Society of Moffat County bowling event rolls Saturday
The fourth annual bowling fundraiser sponsored by Humane Society of Moffat County and Bank of Colorado will take place this Saturday at Thunder Rolls Bowling Center, 990 Industrial Ave.
The night begins at 6 p.m. and features multiple games, dinner, dessert and door prizes.
Registration is $25 per person, $50 per couple or $100 per team of four. Space is limited to the facility’s 16 lanes.
Bank of Colorado will match up to $2,500 of the money raised for the Humane Society.

Run, walk, light up night in Glow Run 5K
Memorial Regional Health will host the fourth annual Glow Run 5K Sept. 30.
Registration starts at 5:30 p.m. at Colorado Northwestern Community College, 2801 W. Ninth St., with the race beginning at 6:45 p.m.
The course loops around CNCC and The Memorial Hospital. Entry is $25 for adults, $15 for MRH employees, Craig Press employees and CNCC employees and students. T-shirts are $10 each.
All participants under 18 race for free.
Costumes and glow sticks are encouraged, and the race will be followed by music, food and other activities.
Proceeds benefit Moffat County Cancer Society and MRH Foundation.
