Moffat County soccer loses at Colorado Rocky Mountain

Craig Daily Press Staff Report

After 10 days away from competition, the Moffat County boys soccer team lost its fourth straight contest.

The Bulldogs, playing at Colorado Rocky Mountain School in Carbondale, were unable to slow down a potent Oysters attack in the second half.

After surrendering an early goal to the Oysters’ Jack Huntington-Rainey in the seventh minute, the Bulldogs were able to tie it up shortly afterward.

The score stayed at 1-1 through halftime, but Colorado Rocky Mountain found its stride after the intermission and pulled away to remain undefeated in Region 3 play.

Moffat County continues league play Thursday at Grand Valley, before hosting five straight league games at Woodbury Sports Complex. The first of those will be against Vail Mountain on Saturday.
