Occupation: Custodian with the city of Craig Parks and Recreation Department. I’m also starting my own business, the Party Patch, which is party rentals.
What should your business card say you do? I just like being friends with everybody.
Place of birth: Denver
When did you move to Moffat County and what brought you here? In 1972. My parents bought the Craig Motel.
Describe your morning routine. I get up, get dressed in the dark because I have to be at work by 4 a.m. to clean City Hall.
How would your friends describe you? Reliable
Have you ever had a book change your life? What was it and why? The Book of Mormon. It made me change my religion, and I joined the church, and it’s been really good for me.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher
If you could invite any four people over for dinner, who would they be and what would you serve? My dad because he’s been gone for eight years, of course, my mom, my husband and Helen Keller. Pizza. I’m not a cook.
What are the three things you can’t live without? My family, my church and my friends.
What was your most embarrassing moment? I was pushing my mom in a wheelchair around Sears and it got caught on a coat with elastic around the bottom. I kept pushing her and pushing her. The coat slipped off the rack and hit a lady in the head.
Which super hero would you be? Super Woman, of course.
If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would it be? Smell, because I want to be able to be able to see my grandkids and I want to be able to hear them. And I don’t want to give up food!
What band/performer would you stand in line to get tickets for? Toby Keith
What music, book or movie are you ashamed to admit you love? Music from the ’50s, like Frank Sinatra
What would you do if you won $10 million? I’d help my family out and I’d build a recreation center for the community.
How do you feel about Wal-Mart coming to town? I’m for it because we don’t have that much here and I go out of town to shop. I think new things are good.
