Moffat County neighbor

Age: 47

Occupation: Library assistant

What should your business card say you do? I do all of the inter-library loan processing for the library. I check out books and help patrons.

Place of birth: Dover, Del.

When did you move to Moffat County, and what brought you here? 1978, and I came here because there was more work in Craig than where I came from.

Describe your morning routine. I let my dogs go outside, then I get to feed and water all of my six animals. Then I get ready to come here.

How would your friends describe you? Quirky. They tell me here I deal with the public well, and I always have a smile.

Have you ever had a book change your life? What was it and why? I just read the book, “Start Late, Finish Rich.” It helped explain what we need to do to get ourselves ready for retirement if we started late.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Rich. I went to school to be a cosmetologist.

If you could invite any four people over for dinner, who would they be and what would you serve? My four grandparents because I only met one grandfather one time and I only had my one grandma around a short time. It would be nice to get to know them and find out why I’m so quirky. I’d serve pot roast. My family is very down-to-earth.

What are the three things you can’t live without? Books, my husband will tell you HGTV, and chocolate, not in that order.

Which super hero would you be? Superwoman — powerful, get to carry a rope and look sexy.

What’s the worst reason you’ve received/given for breaking up with someone? I don’t have time.

If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would it be? Sense of touch, I guess, because I really want to see and hear things and smell, and I have to taste!

What band/performer would you stand in line to get tickets for? Jimmy Buffett (we have).

What music, book or movie are you ashamed to admit you love? Cozy mysteries. They’re murder mysteries with themes, like food or knitting.

What would you do if you won $10 million? Renovate the house, buy new vehicles, give money to the kids and go to Disneyland again.

What do you think of the ongoing war in Iraq? My nephew is in Baghdad. My youngest son was in Tikrit. I’m not against the war, but I want my nephew to come back with all his parts.
