Moffat County has 5 residents running for CNCC board seats

The race is on for three open seats on Colorado Northwestern Community College’s Board of Control.
The candidates for the at-large positions include Zack Allen, Mike Anson, Dave DeRose, Terry Carwile and Tamilyn Fager, the first three of whom are all incumbents.
Allen, director of educator effectiveness for Moffat County School District and DeRose, former owner of Masterworks Mechanical, were both appointed midterm and, like Anson, owner of Anson Excavating, are seeking reelection.
Carwile served as Craig’s mayor from 2011 to 2015, worked for Trapper Mine for many years and currently deals in public relations for Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association.
Fager recently returned to Craig at the beginning of the year to serve as the branch president of Bank of Colorado. She previously lived in the area from 2002 to 2006, during which time she also taught at CNCC.
The election will take place in November.
