Moffat County commissioners to consider letter of support for Colowyo Mine
CRAIG — The Moffat County Board of County Commissioners will hold its regular weekly meeting at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 West Victory Way in Craig.
The commission will review a lease that would place part of the county shop building in Dinosaur for use as a clinic for Memorial Regional Health. The clinic would be open one day per week.
In addition, Moffat County Natural Resources Director Jeff Comstock will present a letter urging the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to approve an air quality permit for the Colowyo Mine.
The board will also review the Moffat County Tourism Association’s lease. The MCTA is to present a memo of understanding to the board regarding hiring and supervision of the MCTA director.
The commission will also review a mental health services contract with Virtual Assessments, LLC.
