Moffat County Commissioner May 6 meeting recap

At their regular Tuesday meeting, Moffat County commissioners:

• Announced that Loudy-Simpson Park pond was stocked with fish, ready to be enjoyed by fishing enthusiasts.

• Reminded Shadow Mountain residents to attend the improvement district public meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion building. The commissioners will discuss how residents can prepare for the construction that will be going on all summer to upgrade sewer/water systems and roads in the subdivision.

• Accepted the lowest bid, 2-0 (Moffat County Commissioner Tom Mathers was absent), for the Loudy-Simpson Ice Arena flooring at $37,120 from TLC Carpet One Floor & Home.
