Moffat County Cancer Society: Thanks Victory Motors
To the editor,
The members of the Moffat County Cancer Society are so thankful to live in Moffat County. We would like to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to Irene, Tony, Steve and the staff of Victory Motors for hosting the amazing Cancer Drive Fundraiser and silent auction on Sept. 27. We thank you for your on-going donations from the sale of any car through December. That is extraordinary support and encouragement. We are very grateful to Rick Upchurch, Le-Lo Lang, Ron Egloff, Dave Studdard and Randy Gradishar, former Broncos, for actually coming to Craig and helping with the auction and drive. What a blessing that is to our community. From the bottom of our hearts we thank the local businesses and the national organizations and businesses who donated items and money in this drive. This couldn’t have happened without your support. We are deeply touched by the people of Moffat County who attended and supported this fun-filled drive. The fact that $13,254 was raised and donated shows quite a bit about us in Northwest Colorado. It demonstrates the value that the people of Moffat County place on helping those who are fighting cancer and the family members who are standing with their loved ones. This money will be used to support cancer patients in Moffat County to help with needs that arise along the way. As patients and their families receive funds from us, they know it is not just money, it is from the heart and soul of fellow community members who care about the struggle they are in.
