Moffat County High School boys basketball provided season awards Wednesday night, with coach Eric Hamilton honoring Bulldog players for their work throughout the winter.

Senior hoopsters Connor Murphy and Colby Beaver took All-Conference distinctions, with First Team for Murphy and Honorable Mention for Beaver. The two also gained Academic All-State Honorable Mention, with First Team going to fellow seniors Connor Etzler and Cale Scranton.

Murphy also was recently named Colorado High School Activities Association All-State Honorable Mention.

Within the MoCo program, Hamilton named Murphy the season’s MC Mr. Hustle for his all-around effort on the court, also leading the team in steals for the year.

Beaver was honored as the team’s leading scorer, rebounder and Outstanding Defender, while Etzler led the team in assists and freshman Ryan Peck was the varsity team’s Most Improved Player.
