Moffat County Board of Education schedules 4 p.m. meeting to appoint interim superintendent

Work session to discuss school budget to follow at 6 p.m.







— The Moffat County Board of Education is scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. on Thursday to interview Morris Ververs and Joel Sheridan for the position of interim superintendent — and then to appoint an interim superintendent who will begin work on Friday.

The agenda for Thursday’s meeting also includes a motion for an executive session before the interviews “for purposes of receiving specific legal advice on leadership transition.”

A work session to discuss the school budget is scheduled to follow the meeting at 6 p.m.
