CRAIG — A discussion, and possible approval, of an agreement to pay consultants George K. Baum and Company $25,ooo to help the county develop and deploy tools for its public policy efforts is among the action items the Moffat County Board of County Commissioners will consider during its regular meeting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24.
Also on the agenda, commissioners are expected to appoint new representatives to the Area Council on Aging and Employee Health Insurance Board. They will also consider an agreement between Memorial Regional Health and Tetra Financial Group for the lease of medical diagnostic imaging, network and phone equipment.

I have followed with interest the discussion concerning the potential transfer of the Yampa Elementary School to Memorial Regional Health. Although there are many significant unanswered questions about what Memorial Regional Health plans to do with the Yampa Elementary School, the focus of my letter is on the Yampa Elementary School as a community asset.
