Moffat County High School baseball is ready to hit the field for its first set of home games, but before that comes an important memorial.

The Bulldogs will host a pregame ceremony for former team manager and MCHS graduate Clayton Moon at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Craig Middle School field, 915 Yampa Ave.

Moon, a 2015 Moffat County alumnus, was killed in a Monday car accident near Boulder.

Coach Justin Folley said the community is encouraged to attend the ceremony to honor Moon, which will include a brief introduction and a moment of silence.
