Craig Police Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Yampa Avenue and Victory Way around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday.

According to Cmdr. Jerry DeLong, the crash involved a 2015 Dodge Caravan driven by Nancy Lopez-Duarte, 28, of Craig, and a 2013 Nisan Maxima driven by Larson Larson, 63, of Henderson, Nevada.

Larson was traveling northbound on Yampa when Duarte, who was headed west on Victory, struck his vehicle, said DeLong.

Duarte was issued a citation for failing to stop at a red light. No one involved was transported to the hospital.

DeLong said he is unaware of any ongoing investigation into the accident.
