Minor school bus accident disrupts traffic on Victory Way

Patrick Kelly
Young students move to a different school bus after the one they were riding in was swiped by a truck.

Around 4 p.m. Wednesday, a truck attempted a left hand turn from the center lane of Victory Way onto School Street, striking the side of a Moffat County School District bus.

No one was injured, but Victory Way was reduced to single-lane traffic for approximately 15 minutes.

Children on the bus that was struck were transferred onto a different bus.

Sgt. Brain Soper from Craig Police Department issued the driver of the truck, Scott Joslin, a citation for unsafely changing lanes.
