Michael Alan Jessen

Craig resident Michael Alan Jessen died Sept. 5, 2003. He was 50.

Jessen was born April 9, 1953, in Pierre, S.D., to Raymond and Dona (Smith) Jessen.

Jessen was raised in Redfield and Denver, where he attended school. He moved to Craig in 1975 and in 1976 he was united in marriage to Connie Pritchard. Jessen worked as a carpenter in construction. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and woodworking.



Jessen is survived by his wife, Connie Jessen, of Craig; his mother, Dona Jessen, of Denver; sister, Charlene Boyn, of Denver; brothers Ray Jessen, of Denver, and Jeff Jessen, of Denver.

Services were Sept. 10, 2003, at Grant Mortuary Chapel with Beryl Wright officiating. Selections were, “Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain,” and “Silver Wings” by Theresa Gilbert and Rick Tingle.



Honorary pallbearers were all of Michael’s many friends.

Services were concluded at the mortuary.
