Memorial Regional Health Board to recognize retiring Vice President of Quality Beka Warren

CRAIG — After years of work as a medical professional, deputy coroner, and community leader, Beka Warren is preparing to retire. Her years of service as vice president of quality for Memorial Regional Hospital will be recognized by the MRH Board of Trustees when it meets at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, in the boardroom at The Memorial Hospital, 750 Hospital Loop Road.

Before the meeting, board members will gather at 5 p.m. for dinner.

During the meeting, the board also intends to approve an audit and cost report vendor and a proposal for Emergency Medical Service transfer.

Members of the board also plan to:

  • Consider approval of a consent agenda to adopt minutes of the Nov. 15 meeting, finance committee meeting minutes from the Dec. 19 meeting, Quality Steering Committee minutes from the Dec. 12 meeting, and MRH Foundation minutes from the Nov. 26 meeting.
  • Consider approval of a consent agenda to approve projects and equipment recommended by the finance committee.
  • Grant medical staff privileges, as recommended by Dr. Jeff Womble
  • Receive regular monthly reports from Chief Financial Officer Kelsea Henry and CEO Andy Daniels.

Near the end of the meeting, the board plans to conviene an executive session pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b) to receive legal advice on specific legal questions.
