MCHS senior commits to cheer in college

Darian Warden

— Moffat County High School senior Kayla Hall has committed to cheer at Chadron State University in Nebraska next year.

Hall said she chose Chadron because of its elementary education program.

“I’m super excited to keep going with something I love so much,” Hall said.

Hall has been cheering since she attended her first cheer clinic in kindergarten. Hall’s mom, Julie, was at Wednesday’s letter of intent signing and said she was very proud and excited for her daughter.

Cheer coaches Ashley Green and Megan Jones also attended to show their support for Hall.

Green said she was happy one of her cheerleaders decided to continue on with cheer in college.

“We’re very proud of her,” Jones said. “She has great assets.”
