MCHS boys soccer match changed
Craig — The Moffat County High School boys soccer team has made a scheduling change.
Today’s contest against Glenwood Springs High School, originally posted as a road game, has been changed to a home contest.
“They have too much going on over there with homecoming and all,” Moffat County High School Athletics Director Jeff Simon said. “No complaints here though. We’re happy to have them”
Start time for the varsity squad is 9 a.m. The junior varsity will follow at 10:30 a.m.
In an effort to make coal more competitive against natural gas and renewable energy sources, two of the nation’s largest coal companies, Peabody Energy and Arch Coal, have announced that they plan to combine assets in Colorado and Wyoming. Routt County’s Twentymile Mine would be managed under the new joint venture.
